Wowcher £99 holiday review: When we saw Wowcher’s first Mystery Holiday deal, we were very excited. That was an offer that we couldn’t withstand, with 7 days of holiday, flights, hotels and only £99 included, to Thailand and Dubai! In addition to the main luxury destinations, there are also two nights for gain in Algarve, Ibiza, Budapest, or other parts of Europe. So we decided that, even if we did not win Thailand, we would be happy anyway.
You give an advertisement date, but it is different for each person and usually 10 days after you buy it. It was like years the next two weeks.
On our call for the first time, they said on Monday 9pm and 6am on Wednesday we won Berlin with flights leaving London. We asked, of course, whether they had alternative flights because it wouldn’t give us much time in Berlin.
In order to change our flight times, we were then offered Milan or Venice. We realized it wasn’t really an asshole at this point, but rather the best deal they could ever give us. They also give Thailand or Dubai no chance unless sufficient people take part.
When I got the call at work, I had to double-check with my travel partner whether these dates were all right with their schedule of activities.
