I spend quite some time with law firms dealing with litigants-attorneys who try cases in the courts during my job as a litigation consultant. It took me just a few of hours, and we would have been finished before lunch.

I had arranged a working session for 10:30 a.m. with a lawyer. Imagine my surprise, when I was called by the lawyer — a female late 60s — to ask for our meeting to take place at 10 a.m. so she can take her law firm in her offices at noon to the yoga class!

First of all, it was “What an enlightened law firm!” My second thought was “Yes of course! I would be happy if I could change appointment time.” I was pleased that this organisation acknowledges the immense value of protecting their lawyers’ well-being.

He was prepared not only to make a space usable for yoga, but also to pay the teacher and overlook what the attending lawyers would otherwise be “billable hours.” And I was doubly pleased that the contender with whom I worked trusted enough to take part.

There was no improvement for the maids at the second hotel.

What happened? What happened? The servants of the first hotel now had more knowledge than a paycheck about the basic benefits of their jobs. Their subconscious expressed the gain to their bodies, leading to weight loss, reduction in fat and a reduction in blood pressure.

The maid job is, of course, somewhat different from yoga, but the idea is the same. Upon your yoga practise, harness the strength of your mind. Know the unique physical and mental benefits and importance of yoga. You can only prosper!
