Lord Bethell Salary: James Nicholas Bethell is a British heritage peer and junior health minister of the House of Lords (born 1 October 1967). Before founding the Westbourne Communications company, she worked as a reporter, and then ran a nightclub for the Sound Ministry, and sold the titles to the Cicero Group. In 2005, when Sadiq Khan was lost to Labor candidate and future Mayor of London, he was unsuccessfully challenged by Tooting.
In 2009, Bethell challenged the primacy of becoming the future parliamentary candidate of the Conservative Party for the Gosport electoral district. He came second behind Caroline Dinenage, who went on to become a Member of Parliament in the 2010 general election.

Lords received a ministerial wage of £70,969, a bit less than three newly trained nurses’ combined pay. Each day that Lords attend the Houses of Parliament, they also have the right to £305 in allowance.
