Estee Lauder Cool Bone Review: Estee Lauder 1C1 Cool Bone is described by the brand as ‘Pale ivory beige with cool undertones.’ It is a shade in the Double Wear Stay-in-Place SPF 10 Liquid Foundation range, which is a liquid foundation with a semi-matte finish and medium coverage that retails for $42.00 and contains 1 oz. As far as packaging is concerned, the Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup is identical. Both contain 30 mL of product, and both come in a bottle of cloudy glass.
Please note that both bottles come with a twistable cap, even though I bought a Clinique pump top for the easy application on my Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation. Typically my #1 foundation need is coverage, which does not offer too much of this foundation-it gives light to medium coverage. But I loved it, actually!
It evened out my skin tone and covered up my trouble areas while still letting my freckles poke through (scarring and redness around my nose and chin). It lasted all day, and the whole time it felt “barely there.” I make a before & after shot when I do foundation reviews, but I’m going to start doing a “finished product” picture that shows the whole look.
